• Director, OAUG Middleware SIG (Applications Technology Stack SIG)

VLAD Group, Inc. was founded in March 2001 by Sandra Vucinic. Sandra has over fourteen years of experience with Oracle database administration specifically supporting Oracle Applications environments including installation, implementations, administration, maintenance, upgrades and remote support.

Her focus is in areas of infrastructure planning, architecture design, review and support with emphasis in areas of Oracle Applications implementations and upgrades.

For years Sandra has been a presenter and panel member at OAUG, NCOAUG, CSOAUG, OVOAUG, SROAUG, Oracle Apps World and Oracle Open World Conferences (60+ sessions). Sandra continues to be active in the OAUG organization. 

For her outstanding achievements and contributions, Sandra has been awarded the OAUG Member of the Year Award for 2008 at the Collaborate 2008 Conference in April 2008 in Denver CO.

Sandra presented her “Get Ready for E-Business Suite Release 12” paper, moderated Migrations to Linux and E-Business Suite Cloning Panels and also participated on the Release 12 Upgrade Panel, OAUG Middleware SIG Panel, Applications Database Optimization Panel and “Upgrading from Release 11i? Join Us and Hear the Best Strategies for Upgrading” Panel at the Collaborate 2008 Conference in Denver CO in April 2008.

For a sixth year Sandra continues to serve on the Board of Directors for OAUG Database Special Interest Group and OAUG SysAdmin Special Interest Group. In 2004, Sandra joined the SROAUG Board as the Secretary Director and Communications Director. In 2005, Sandra has accepted a position on the OAUG Middleware Special Interest Group (formally known as Applications Technology Stack SIG) Board of Directors and currently serves as the Membership Director. In 2007, Sandra joined OAUG GEO/SIG Committee.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the NCOAUG, Sandra was awarded the Distinguished Service Award at the NCOAUG conference in August 2007 in Chicago IL.

Sandra was honored to contribute as a Technical Reviewer to a success of “Oracle Applications DBA Field Guide” book by Elke Phelps and Paul Jackson described as an “Essential reading for new Oracle Applications DBAs, and very useful reading even for experienced DBAs.” by Steven Chan from Oracle.
