VLAD Group, Inc. was founded in March 2001 by Sandra Vucinic. Sandra has over twenty years of experience with Oracle database administration specifically supporting Oracle E-Business Suite environments including installation, implementations, administration, maintenance, upgrades and remote support.
Her focus is in areas of infrastructure planning, architecture design, review and support with emphasis in areas of Oracle E-Business Suite implementations and upgrades.

For years Sandra has been a presenter and panel member at OAUG, NCOAUG, CSOAUG, OVOAUG, SROAUG, NorCal OAUG, Oracle Apps World and Oracle Open World Conferences (150+ sessions). Sandra continues to be active in the OAUG organization.

At the Collaborate 2016 Conference in Las Vegas NV, Sandra received the OAUG Star Presenter Award (right). This is a lifetime achievement award for all the many years of presenting a wide range of topics on Oracle technology.

Sandra will co-present session “We have Successfully Landed the “EBS R12.2” Bird! Upgrade Story from Pilot and Co-Pilot “, moderate “Oracle EBS Cloning Panel”, “EBS Release 12.2 Upgrade SIG Panel”, “EBS Applications Technology SIG Panel” and participate on “Oracle Applications Tuning Panel” at the OAUG Collaborate conference in Las Vegas in April 2018.

For the past sixteen years, Sandra has served on the Board of Directors for OAUG Database Special Interest Group and OAUG SysAdmin Special Interest Group. In 2004, Sandra joined the SROAUG Board as the Secretary Director and served on the Board as Communications Director. In 2005, Sandra has accepted a position on the OAUG E-Business Applications Technology Special Interest Group (formally known as Middleware SIG) Board of Directors and currently serves as the President. In 2007, Sandra joined OAUG GEO/SIG Sandra Vucinic awardCommittee. In 2010, Sandra was elected Chair of OAUG Upgrade SIG Board and joined the OAUG Nominating Committee. In 2011, Sandra was elected as a chair of the OAUG Nominating Committee and was selected to Co-Chair the Connection Point Release 12.1 Conference. In 2013, Sandra was elected to serve as a Director on NorCal OAUG Board of Directors.

In 2012 Sandra was invited to serve on Oracle's Customer Advisory Board for E-Business Suite Applications Technology.

For her outstanding achievements and contributions to the Oracle Applications User Group (OAUG), Sandra was awarded the OAUG Member of the Year Award for 2008 at the Collaborate 2008 Conference in April 2008 in Denver CO.

In December 2008 Sandra received the Oracle ACE Award by Oracle Corporation for her significant contributions and activity in the Oracle technical community as she has demonstrated a proficiency in Oracle technology as well as a willingness to share her knowledge and experiences with the Oracle community.

Oracle Ace Award In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the North Central Oracle Applications User Group (NCOAUG), Sandra was awarded the NCOAUG Distinguished Service Award at the NCOAUG conference in August 2007 in Chicago IL.

Sandra was honored to contribute as a Technical Reviewer to the success of the “Oracle Applications DBA Field Guide” book by Elke Phelps and Paul Jackson, described as an “Essential reading for new Oracle Applications DBAs, and very useful reading even for experienced DBAs.” by Steven Chan from Oracle.
